Anita earned a Bachelor’s degree in English and History Education from Mount Mary College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and a Master’s degree in Education and Professional Development from the University of Wisconsin in La Crosse. She taught communication skills in public schools and two and four-year colleges. In addition, she developed and taught a career search skills class for refugee students to aid them in assimilating into the workforce. When not working, Anita enjoys traveling, reading, cooking and photography and meeting new people.
