Safiullah Mayar became a civil engineer who contributed to the construction of his country. Having witnessed considerable destruction, he invested in building projects by working at the National Development Corporation in Afghanistan.
In 2021, Safiullah arrived in Idaho and began exploring opportunities to rekindle his civil engineering career in Boise. He is currently employed as a staff engineer at HECO Engineers. Recently, he evaluated his Afghan degree, which has opened the door for him to pursue his dream of taking the Fundamentals of Engineering exam and advancing his career in Idaho.
